The Dodgers called 20-year-old left-handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw up from double A to make his big league debut Sunday against the Cardinals. Kershaw was the team’s number one draft choice two years ago out of highschool in Dallas, and pitched well with a no decision. Chones made an interesting observation not long ago. He said, “The best team in our league—–Boston—–is a team of great players who have never won the big game.
